Some recent research suggests that women will sacrifice achievement for the sake of a relationship, but men will more likely sacrifice a relationship for the sake of an achievement.
Wondering if anyone has experienced that from either the female or male perspective.

I think you shouldn't have to sacrifice anything for the sake of a relationship. I am a competitive, ambitious woman. Stronger men appreciate that, weaker men are intimidated by it. A woman should not have to sacrifice to a single aspect of success just to make a man feel more comfortable. It's weird, but today's men seem to compete with their women, when they really should see themselves on the same team. I think a woman should only sacrifice for her children, and most mothers do that daily.
