Thank you Lord for Mom.

I want to thank everyone for their prayers and support. Mother Senior is doing remarkably well and is at home taking some time off.

Man... it is so important to tell those whom we love, admire and cherish how we feel about them every chance we get. If there's someone whose been a yoda when you needed advice, a gilligan when you needed a laugh or worn whatever hat necessary to get you over (1) cover them in prayer (2) cover them in gratitude and (3) cover them in support.

Love and appreciate you Hopemakers!!!

P.S. - In honor of mama... post your favorite "mama story". http://www.spreadinghopeonline.blogspot.com/

  1. Thank God she's alright! It is so important to express love. The only thing that is certain about life is that it is constantly changing. Nothing stays the same forever, so it's important to make the most of our time with the loved ones that we've been allowed to enjoy.

My favorite mama story is still being written. My mom continues to encourage me, and yes, check me when I need it. My mom raised my two sisters and me by herself on a teacher's salary. I look back and know it was by the grace of God, but my goodness-what an impressive woman she is! She raised three young ladies, earned two degrees and still found time to volunteer year round. She never remarried because she didn't want to have another man living in the house, around her girls. We didn't have a constant trail of "uncles" presented to us. Mothers just don't sacrifice like that anymore. Shout out to Mother Willis!
